From Yvette C.G. Stancil to you:
Now that school is back in session, many of you, especially those with children, are likely preparing for the upcoming holidays. Meanwhile, we have had the honor of celebrating the remarkable achievements of our son and granddaughters: Two of our son’s paintings were placed on exhibit at the prestigious Black History Museum and Cultural Center in Virginia, while one granddaughter has entered her second year of college, and another has started her senior year of high school.
When my husband and I look at the depth of our family tree and milestones reached by each member; from our youngest grandchild turning one year old in August to our children and older grandchildren reaching the independence of adulthood, we feel blessed to witness the fullness of life God manifested for us and for the lives of those we hold most dear.
My passion is to help others, especially women, live in the same place of manifestation and fulfillment that comes from being aligned with their God-centered purpose. Over the past few months, I have dedicated my time to developing a special coaching group for women, about which I will be excited to share more very soon. While reflecting on the journey of creating this group, I have come to understand the importance of accountability. The dictionary defines accountability as "the fact or condition of being accountable; responsibility." Throughout the process of creating the group, I have learned the value of clearly defining expectations and setting achievable goals for our projects. It is crucial to determine when we want to complete these tasks to avoid feeling overwhelmed by a never-ending to-do list. Setting clear goals and creating accountability for those goals allows streamlined thought and time, enabling us to focus on what is truly important. Fortunately, having someone to hold us accountable and support us can make a significant difference. As a coach, I have personally experienced the benefits of having an accountability coach in my own business, pushing me forward and helping me stay on track.
