Are we capable to forgive on our own? When someone wrongs you, the hurt cuts deep.
Sometimes you receive an email or text about you that was meant for someone else, or you overhear a conversation about you. You trusted that person and thought they were a friend, but discovered they were not who you believed them to be. This has happened to many of us.
Forgiveness feels impossible in these moments. Yet God's power and love help us move forward. With Him, we become capable. With God, all things we thought impossible become possible, including forgiving the person who betrayed you.
Remember, forgiveness does not mean forgetting what they did. The hurt may not disappear immediately. Forgiveness is about releasing that pain and allowing God to bring healing into your life.
If forgiveness still feels difficult, bring it to the Lord in prayer. Ask Him to give you strength to move through this season.
God's strength fills the gap where your own strength falls short. His love provides what your heart cannot produce alone.
What burden would lift from your shoulders if you let God carry the weight of your hurt?
