About Yvette

Dr. Yvette Stancil comes from an extensive line of teachers, leaders, and mental healthcare workers. After discovering she too possessed the family traits for empathy, a passion for helping others and sharp listening skills, Dr. Stancil followed in the altruistic footsteps of those in her family who dedicated their careers to serving humankind, as she went to college to earn her B.A. in Psychology at California State University.  From there she went on to acquire her master’s degree and eventually her doctorate degree at Alliant International University/California School of Professional Psychology.  Dr. Stancil centered her clinical work on bolstering strong families and became crisis trained to work with children experiencing distressed home and school environments.  In her past work with families, Dr. Stancil began to hone her counseling skills for individuals, and it was in this work that she found her passion and her ministry – helping women re-align their focus and priorities on God’s purpose for their lives.  Through her training with the Center of Christian Coaching, Dr. Stancil learned to place Jesus in the center of her coaching practice.  She also earned her Certification in Christian coaching after several months of intensive training.  Dr. Stancil is continuing her education with the Professional Christian Coaching Institute to acquire her certification with the International Coaching Federation.

As a career woman, wife and mother, Dr. Stancil fully understands how the pressures women currently face personally and professionally can easily distract focus from what God has planned for their lives.  Supporting women through the difficult and often overwhelming condition of being distanced from their purpose, Dr. Stancil helps her clients get back on track to achieve their goals and live more successful, God-centered lives.  Dr. Stancil is supported in her work by her husband and children and delights in helping her clients gain the tools to find and maintain their peace while getting on track for God’s plan for their lives.
